Nemanja Injac, Founder and Managing Partner of Injac Attorneys, has joined the European Air Law Association (EALA), the leading European professional forum dedicated to the study of air law and to the policies shaping the air transport sector across Europe.
Founded in 1988 on the initiative of Professor P. D. Dagtoglou and registered in England and Wales, EALA brings together academics, national and EU officials, representatives of international civil aviation organisations, airlines, aerospace manufacturers, aviation insurers, aircraft lessors and practitioners from within and beyond the European Union. Its work is carried out through annual conferences held in European capitals, biennial liability seminars, and dedicated aircraft finance legal seminars.
Air transport is one of the most thoroughly harmonised sectors in European law, and one where regulatory change tends to arrive early and travel quickly. For a market such as Serbia, connected to the European framework through the Multilateral Agreement on the Establishment of a European Common Aviation Area, developments at EU level are rarely a matter of foreign law only. They set the direction that domestic rules and practice will follow.
Membership in EALA provides direct access to that discussion, to the interpretations, the case law and the policy debates taking shape among the practitioners, regulators and academics who work on these questions across Europe. It is the kind of insight that is difficult to obtain from the outside, and that becomes valuable to clients well before it becomes settled law.
We see this step as part of a broader commitment: to remain close to the sources of European legal development in the sectors that matter to our clients, and to translate that proximity into advice that anticipates rather than reacts.
