The Serbian Business Registers Agency (APR) has published the latest version of the Map of Registered Measures and Incentives for Regional Development (RegMPRR), containing data for the first six months of 2025. This interactive map, available on the official Serbian Business Registers Agency (APR) website, represents a centralized database of all forms of state aid and incentives registered throughout Serbia.
Purpose and Importance of the RegMPRR Map
The incentive map was created to provide transparent insight into the geographical and sectoral distribution of state incentives – ranging from subsidies and grants to tax reliefs and financial instruments. In this way, investors, local governments, and business entities can easily search available support programs and analyze the structure of aid by region and sector.
According to APR, the map contains information on more than 2,000 registered measures, including their amounts, types of beneficiaries, and legal bases for the allocation of funds. The data is sourced from the Register of Measures and Incentives, maintained in accordance with the Law on Investments and the Law on State Aid Control.
Trends for the First Half of 2025
According to the new data, most registered incentives have been directed toward:
- the industrial and manufacturing sector,
- energy efficiency and renewable energy sources,
- innovation, research, and development, and
- support for employment and the development of small and medium-sized enterprises.
Geographically, incentives are most prevalent in the regions of Šumadija and Western Serbia, while growth in investment has also been recorded in Southern and Eastern Serbia – indicating a strengthening of regional balance in state investment policies.
Usefulness for Investors and Businesses
For domestic and foreign investors, the updated RegMPRR Map serves as a reliable tool for strategic planning. By using the interactive database, it is possible to identify which areas and sectors currently enjoy the highest level of state support, as well as to determine which regions offer room for additional investment with incentives.
In addition, the map can assist legal and financial advisors in preparing projects for state aid applications, thereby reducing risk and increasing the efficiency of investment decisions. The map is regularly updated and publicly available without registration at this link.
The new data on state incentives for the first half of 2025 provide a clear overview of Serbia’s investment trends and economic policy priorities. For businesses, this represents a valuable source of information on the directions of state support, while for legal and investment advisors, it opens opportunities for further analysis and proactive planning.
